‘Viva Espana!’ Spanish Horse Display 1

Three pure-bred Spanish Horses ridden by three sisters!  Tamzin 21, Zara 19 and Amy, 18 years old.  All the horses are owned, bred and trained by the sisters and their mother Karen (the senora in the flamenco dress!) who presents the show.

This show is a presentation of the Spanish Horse in traditional costume and follows a brief history of the Spanish Horse through time, accompanied by Spanish Music and live commentary.  There are four ‘scenes’ showing the horse in different ways.

Duration of show – 15 mins.  Show is colourful, informative, varied and attractive.

This show is a presentation of the Spanish Horse in traditional costume practising their accuracy skills with the garrocha pole before competing in the ‘Ring and Ribbon’ competition.  This was one of the ways that Spanish Horses and their riders prepared for war and now features in many modern day Spanish Ferias.  Audience participation is welcome and encouraged by the senora commentator – Karen (in flamenco dress) – who presents the show. The audience are encouraged to shout and clap and cheer on their favourite horse and rider!  - A noisy show, informative, fast – great fun!  Duration of show – 15 - 20 mins
